FAQs

Why are weeks 2 & 9 less expensive?

Week 2 has the Free Family 4th in the middle of it, which is free for families whether or not they are signed up for day camp, so we didn't think it was fair to charge for that afternoon. Plan to bring the rest of your family and join your camper for fun camp activities followed by a hot dog dinner and fireworks viewing from our beach. More info HERE.
Week 9 is our week to take day camp on the road. We'll be hosted for this week by one of our affiliate churches, Silverdale United Methodist Church near the mall. In acknowledgement of the different drop-off and pick-up location, and the challenge that may present if you're used to dropping off in Indianola, we've reduced the price for this week.

My child has food allergies or special dietary needs. Can camp accommodate that?

Yes! Our kitchen and camp store are nut free and we ask parents not to send nuts to camp. Our Food Service Director is great at working with special food needs like gluten-free, vegetarian, or vegan diets. If you have specific questions or if your child has more specific food needs and you are wondering about accommodation, please email food@campindianola.org.

Where do I drop off & pick up? What do I need to pack? I need more details!

We've thought of everything and have those answers for you. Download the Parent Information Sheet below for those answers and more!

Is there a theme like Superheroes or Under the Sea?

Not this year. We've decided to keep it simple this summer and enjoy the simple wonder that is camp. The theme above of This Changes Everything is our overall theme for the summer. The games and activities fall under the general theme of Camp is Awesome!
